AN OUTLINE OF FUTURE HISTORY
These events have been revealed to me by the Holy
Spirit of God and I solemnly declare them to be true. The events
noted by Roman Numerals are what begin the Great Tribulation
period and include the major events leading to the return of
Christ and the subsequent events after his coming. Whenever
I use terms such as may, might, could, ect. this indicates only
a possibility and not an absolute certainty. These possible
scenarios are given only as an aid in seeing how all the pieces
of Bible prophecy could have a logical conclusion in our lifetime.
It is important to note that the entire Bible
revolves around the history of the Jews and Gods plan for them
and all of mankind. Jesus and his 12 disciples were Jews. Israel
is the promised land and all Bible prophesy revolves around
these facts. The fact that the nation of Israel came under the
curse of Deuteronomy 30:1, 29:14-19, 28:58-63,15,45-46, and
ceased to be a nation for 1900 years and then in 1948 was reborn
is the most important proof that we are near the end of this
age. This is not to say that any individual is under a curse
because of his forefathers, but rather that the nation is called
to repentance. But, if their eyes are shut and their ears can
not hear, then their destiny has already been sealed. There
remains 3 and 1/2 years of future prophesy to be fullfilled
regarding Israel as fortold by Daniel 9:24-27. I wish it were
not so. I long to bring my elder brothers in the faith to the
fullness of the truth in Christ Jesus. As a Christian, I know
that spiritually I am a Jew, an adopted son of Abraham and heir
to the promise. Arabs and Muslims are my brothers as well through
Abraham and by the will of the one true God we believe in. To
my Arab brothers I would say two things: 1. Israel is your brother,
do not torment them or you will be doomed. 2. If you say that
God has no Son, then you have believed a Lie! For God so loved
the world that he sent his only begotten son, to be born of
the Virgin Mary, who freely laid down his life, so that whoever
believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Deut 30:1 1 "And when all these things come
upon you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before
you, and you call them to mind among all the nations where the
LORD your God has driven you,(RSV)
Deut 29:14-19 14 Nor is it with you only that
I make this sworn covenant, 15 but with him who is not here
with us this day as well as with him who stands here with
us this day before the LORD our God. 16 "You know how we dwelt
in the land of Egypt, and how we came through the midst of the
nations through which you passed; 17 and you have seen their
detestable things, their idols of wood and stone, of silver
and gold, which were among them. 18 Beware lest there be among
you a man or woman or family or tribe, whose heart turns away
this day from the LORD our God to go and serve the gods of those
nations; lest there be among you a root bearing poisonous and
bitter fruit, 19 one who, when he hears the words of this sworn
covenant, blesses himself in his heart, saying, 'I shall be
safe, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart.' This would
lead to the sweeping away of moist and dry alike.(RSV)
Deut 28:15 15 "But if you will not obey the voice
of the LORD your God or be careful to do all his commandments
and his statutes which I command you this day, then all these
curses shall come upon you and overtake you.(RSV)
Deut 28:58-63 58 "If you are not careful to do
all the words of this law which are written in this book, that
you may fear this glorious and awful name, the LORD your God,
59 then the LORD will bring on you and your offspring extraordinary
afflictions, afflictions severe and lasting, and sicknesses
grievous and lasting. 60 And he will bring upon you again all
the diseases of Egypt, which you were afraid of; and they shall
cleave to you. 61 Every sickness also, and every affliction
which is not recorded in the book of this law, the LORD will
bring upon you, until you are destroyed. 62 Whereas you were
as the stars of heaven for multitude, you shall be left few
in number; because you did not obey the voice of the LORD your
God. 63 And as the LORD took delight in doing you good and multiplying
you, so the LORD will take delight in bringing ruin upon you
and destroying you; and you shall be plucked off the land which
you are entering to take possession of it. (RSV)
Deut 28:45-46 45 All these curses shall come upon
you and pursue you and overtake you, till you are destroyed,
because you did not obey the voice of the LORD your God, to
keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded you.
46 They shall be upon you as a sign and a wonder, and upon
your descendants for ever. (RSV)
Dan 9:24-27 24 "Seventy weeks of years are decreed
concerning your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression,
to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in
everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet,
and to anoint a most holy place. 25 Know therefore and understand
that from the going forth of the word to restore and build
Jerusalem to the coming of an anointed one, a prince, there
shall be seven weeks. Then for sixty-two weeks it shall
be built again with squares and moat, but in a troubled time.
26 And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall be
cut off, and shall have nothing; and the people of the prince
who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its
end shall come with a flood, and to the end there shall be war;
desolations are decreed. 27 And he shall make a strong covenant
with many for one week; and for half of the week he shall cause
sacrifice and offering to cease; and upon the wing of abominations
shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is
poured out on the desolator." (RSV)
Isa 66:7-9 7 "Before she was in labor she gave
birth; before her pain came upon her she was delivered of a
son. 8 Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things?
Shall a land be born in one day? Shall a nation be brought
forth in one moment? For as soon as Zion was in labor she
brought forth her sons. 9 Shall I bring to the birth and not
cause to bring forth? says the LORD; shall I, who cause to
bring forth, shut the womb? says your God. (RSV)
1Thes 4:15-5:4 15 For this we declare to you by
the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until
the coming of the Lord, shall not precede those who have fallen
asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with
a cry of command, with the archangel's call, and with the sound
of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first;
17 then we who are alive, who are left, shall be caught up together
with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so
we shall always be with the Lord. CHAPTER 5 1 But as to the
times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need to have anything
written to you. 2 For you yourselves know well that the day
of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 When people
say, "There is peace and security," then sudden destruction
will come upon them as travail comes upon a woman with child,
and there will be no escape. 4 But you are not in darkness,
brethren, for that day to surprise you like a thief. (RSV)
We see plainly in Isaiah 66 above that the rebirth
of the Nation of Israel on a single day in 1948 is fulfilled.
That this is before the bith pains (the Great Tribulation) even
begin. In verse 9 the Lord is asking shall I bring forth a nation
and not deliver her sons. I tell you plainly, this generation
will see the fulfilment of these things. In 1Thessalonians 5:3
it states: (When people say, “There is peace and security,”
then sudden destruction will come upon them as travail comes
upon a woman with child, and there will be no escape.) Do you
wonder who the “people” refered to are? Does not Israel always
insist that it must have peace with security? Do not forget
that it is the nation of Israel that Isaiah is speaking to.
Notice the common theme of a woman in travail about to give
birth. How is it that the nation of Israel can have a peace
that lasts and the word of God remain certain and true if the
Christ has not yet returned? To those who say: “pray for the
peace of Israel” I would ask: Do you know what you are asking
for? In the Day of the Lord it shall be for Israel as a man
who is chased by a Lion and runs into a Bear.
Jeremiah 30:5-7, 11,16,23-24 5 "Thus says the
LORD: We have heard a cry of panic, of terror, and no peace.
6 Ask now, and see, can a man bear a child? Why then do I see
every man with his hands on his loins like a woman in labor?
Why has every face turned pale? 7 Alas! that day is so great
there is none like it; it is a time of distress for Jacob; yet
he shall be saved out of it. 11 For I am with you to save you,
says the LORD; I will make a full end of all the nations among
whom I scattered you, but of you I will not make a full end.
I will chasten you in just measure, and I will by no means leave
you unpunished. 16 Therefore all who devour you shall be devoured,
and all your foes, every one of them, shall go into captivity;
those who despoil you shall become a spoil, and all who prey
on you I will make a prey. 23 Behold the storm of the LORD!
Wrath has gone forth, a whirling tempest; it will burst upon
the head of the wicked. 24 The fierce anger of the LORD will
not turn back until he has executed and accomplished the intents
of his mind. In the latter days you will understand this. (RSV)
Amos 5:18-20 18 Woe to you who desire the day
of the LORD! Why would you have the day of the LORD? It is darkness,
and not light; 19 as if a man fled from a lion, and a bear met
him; or went into the house and leaned with his hand against
the wall, and a serpent bit him. 20 Is not the day of the LORD
darkness, and not light, and gloom with no brightness in it?
(RSV)
Amos 3:7 7 Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, without
revealing his secret to his servants the prophets. (RSV)
I. First there must be a sudden Global Nuclear
Exchange large enough to produce the following results.
A. One third of the trees and grass were burned.
Not necessarily in the initial exchange but at least subsequent
to it. This would apply to the next three items as well.
B. One third of all the ships are destroyed ,
a third of all the fish are killed, and a third of the sea turned
red as blood.
C. A third of all surface water will be contaminated
by fallout and many people will die.
D. The airborne Fallout and smoke will darken
the light of the sun by day, the moon and stars by night.
Rev 8:1-13 1 When the Lamb opened the seventh
seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. 2
Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven
trumpets were given to them. 3 And another angel came and stood
at the altar with a golden censer; and he was given much incense
to mingle with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden
altar before the throne; 4 and the smoke of the incense rose
with the prayers of the saints from the hand of the angel before
God. 5 Then the angel took the censer and filled it with fire
from the altar and threw it on the earth; and there were peals
of thunder, voices, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.
6 Now the seven angels who had the seven trumpets made ready
to blow them. 7 The first angel blew his trumpet, and there
followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, which fell on the
earth; and a third of the earth was burnt up, and a third of
the trees were burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. 8
The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great
mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea; 9 and
a third of the sea became blood, a third of the living creatures
in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. 10
The third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star fell from
heaven, blazing like a torch, and it fell on a third of the
rivers and on the fountains of water. 11 The name of the star
is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many
men died of the water, because it was made bitter. 12 The fourth
angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, and
a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third
of their light was darkened; a third of the day was kept from
shining, and likewise a third of the night. 13 Then I looked,
and I heard an eagle crying with a loud voice, as it flew in
midheaven, "Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth, at
the blasts of the other trumpets which the three angels are
about to blow!" (RSV)
Joel 2:28-32 28 And it shall come to pass afterward,
that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons
and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream
dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29 And also upon the
servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out
my spirit. 30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in
the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun
shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before
the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. 32 And it shall
come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD
shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall
be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom
the LORD shall call. (KJV)
Rev 6:12-13 12 And I saw when he opened the sixth
seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black
as sackcloth of hair, and the whole moon became as blood; 13
and the stars of the heaven fell unto the earth, as a fig tree
casteth her unripe figs when she is shaken of a great wind.

Matt 24:21-22 21 For then there will be great
tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the
world until now, no, and never will be. 22 And if those days
had not been shortened, no human being would be saved; but for
the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. (RSV)
Matt 24:35-39 35 "Heaven and earth will disappear,
but my words remain forever. 36 But no one knows the date and
hour when the end will be-- not even the angels. No, nor even
God's Son. Only the Father knows. 37 "The world will be at ease--
banquets and parties and weddings-- just as it was in Noah's
time before the sudden coming of the flood; 39 people wouldn't
believe what was going to happen until the flood actually arrived
and took them all away. So shall my coming be. (TLB)
Mark 13:20-27 20 And if the Lord had not shortened
the days, no human being would be saved; but for the sake of
the elect, whom he chose, he shortened the days. 21 And then
if any one says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'Look,
there he is!' do not believe it. 22 False Christs and false
prophets will arise and show signs and wonders, to lead astray,
if possible, the elect. 23 But take heed; I have told you all
things beforehand. 24 "But in those days, after that tribulation,
the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light,
25 and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers
in the heavens will be shaken. 26 And then they will see the
Son of man coming in clouds with great power and glory. 27 And
then he will send out the angels, and gather his elect from
the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven.
(RSV)
Luke 21:9-11 9 And when you hear of wars and tumults,
do not be terrified; for this must first take place, but the
end will not be at once." 10 Then he said to them, "Nation will
rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; 11 there will
be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences;
and there will be terrors and great signs from heaven. (RSV)
Luke 21:24-36 24 they will fall by the edge of
the sword, and be led captive among all nations; and Jerusalem
will be trodden down by the Gentiles, until the times of the
Gentiles are fulfilled. 25 "And there will be signs in sun and
moon and stars, and upon the earth distress of nations in perplexity
at the roaring of the sea and the waves, 26 men fainting with
fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world; for
the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 And then they will
see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 Now when these things begin to take place, look up and raise
your heads, because your redemption is drawing near." 29 And
he told them a parable: "Look at the fig tree, and all the trees;
30 as soon as they come out in leaf, you see for yourselves
and know that the summer is already near. 31 So also, when you
see these things taking place, you know that the kingdom of
God is near. 32 Truly, I say to you, this generation will not
pass away till all has taken place. 33 Heaven and earth will
pass away, but my words will not pass away. 34 "But take heed
to yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation
and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon
you suddenly like a snare; 35 for it will come upon all who
dwell upon the face of the whole earth. 36 But watch at all
times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these
things that will take place, and to stand before the Son of
man." (RSV)
Jer 25:27-38 27 "Then you shall say to them, 'Thus
says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Drink, be drunk and
vomit, fall and rise no more, because of the sword which I am
sending among you.' 28 "And if they refuse to accept the cup
from your hand to drink, then you shall say to them, 'Thus says
the LORD of hosts: You must drink! 29 For behold, I begin to
work evil at the city which is called by my name, and shall
you go unpunished? You shall not go unpunished, for I am summoning
a sword against all the inhabitants of the earth, says the LORD
of hosts.' 30 "You, therefore, shall prophesy against them all
these words, and say to them: 'The LORD will roar from on high,
and from his holy habitation utter his voice; he will roar mightily
against his fold, and shout, like those who tread grapes, against
all the inhabitants of the earth. 31 The clamor will resound
to the ends of the earth, for the LORD has an indictment against
the nations; he is entering into judgment with all flesh, and
the wicked he will put to the sword, says the LORD.' 32 "Thus
says the LORD of hosts: Behold, evil is going forth from nation
to nation, and a great tempest is stirring from the farthest
parts of the earth! 33 "And those slain by the LORD on that
day shall extend from one end of the earth to the other. They
shall not be lamented, or gathered, or buried; they shall be
dung on the surface of the ground. 34 "Wail, you shepherds,
and cry, and roll in ashes, you lords of the flock, for the
days of your slaughter and dispersion have come, and you shall
fall like choice rams. 35 No refuge will remain for the shepherds,
nor escape for the lords of the flock. 36 Hark, the cry of the
shepherds, and the wail of the lords of the flock! For the LORD
is despoiling their pasture, 37 and the peaceful folds are devastated,
because of the fierce anger of the LORD. 38 Like a lion he has
left his covert, for their land has become a waste because of
the sword of the oppressor, and because of his fierce anger."
(RSV)
In the verses above there is mentioned the darkening
of the sun and moon. There will be more than one occurance of
similar nature before the final end. First, a partial darkening
from the nuclear exchange. Then, a second occurance after the
two wittnesses have been killed following thier 1260 days of
testimony, and then the second coming of Christ occurs. Then,
a third occurance after Christ’s appearing when the seven bowls
are poured out. Many times in the Bible there are dual fulfillments
of similar but sometimes different events or scripture. Please
read on for clarification.
II. Following this nuclear exchange the
Syrians and their allies will attack and overthrow Egypt and
occupy Israel. They will be cruel and torment the Jews for five
months. Then alarming news from the east and north will be the
cause of thier destrution. Then they will be destroyed between
God’s holy mountain and the sea. Revelation 9:11 below implies
Satan himself is in charge of these Muslim armies.
Rev 9:1-12 1 And the fifth angel blew his trumpet,
and I saw a star fallen from heaven to earth, and he was given
the key of the shaft of the bottomless pit; 2 he opened the
shaft of the bottomless pit, and from the shaft rose smoke like
the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened
with the smoke from the shaft. 3 Then from the smoke came locusts
on the earth, and they were given power like the power of scorpions
of the earth; 4 they were told not to harm the grass of the
earth or any green growth or any tree, but only those of mankind
who have not the seal of God upon their foreheads; 5 they were
allowed to torture them for five months, but not to kill them,
and their torture was like the torture of a scorpion, when it
stings a man. 6 And in those days men will seek death and will
not find it; they will long to die, and death will fly from
them. 7 In appearance the locusts were like horses arrayed for
battle; on their heads were what looked like crowns of gold;
their faces were like human faces, 8 their hair like women's
hair, and their teeth like lions' teeth; 9 they had scales like
iron breastplates, and the noise of their wings was like the
noise of many chariots with horses rushing into battle. 10 They
have tails like scorpions, and stings, and their power of hurting
men for five months lies in their tails. 11 They have as king
over them the angel of the bottomless pit; his name in Hebrew
is Abad'don, and in Greek he is called Apol'lyon. 12 The first
woe has passed; behold, two woes are still to come. (RSV)
Dan 11:40-45 40 "At the time of the end
the king of the south shall attack him; but the king of the
north shall rush upon him like a whirlwind, with chariots and
horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall come into countries
and shall overflow and pass through. 41 He shall come into the
glorious land. And tens of thousands shall fall, but these shall
be delivered out of his hand: Edom and Moab and the main part
of the Ammonites. 42 He shall stretch out his hand against the
countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 He shall
become ruler of the treasures of gold and of silver, and all
the precious things of Egypt; and the Libyans and the Ethiopians
shall follow in his train. 44 But tidings from the east and
the north shall alarm him, and he shall go forth with great
fury to exterminate and utterly destroy many. 45 And he shall
pitch his palatial tents between the sea and the glorious holy
mountain; yet he shall come to his end, with none to help him.
(RSV)
All the events in Daniel chapter 11 up to verse
40 foretold about ancient Egypt and Syria in conflict with each
other. The repeated conflicts between these two nations have
fulfilled all prophesy through verse 39. It is clear that verses
40-45 continue to refer to these same two nations which will
come in conflict with each other at the time of the end.
III. The news from the north that alarmed
the Syrians and their allies was this: That the Anti-Christ
or soon to be Anti-Christ army of the European Allies (or in
other words “Revived Roman Empire”) was moving to take up a
position at the river Euphrates in Iraq in order to stop the
advancing 200 million man army of China.
Rev 9:12-21 12 The first woe has passed; behold,
two woes are still to come. 13 Then the sixth angel blew his
trumpet, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden
altar before God, 14 saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet,
"Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphra'tes."
15 So the four angels were released, who had been held ready
for the hour, the day, the month, and the year, to kill a third
of mankind. 16 The number of the troops of cavalry was twice
ten thousand times ten thousand; I heard their number. 17 And
this was how I saw the horses in my vision: the riders wore
breastplates the color of fire and of sapphire and of sulphur,
and the heads of the horses were like lions' heads, and fire
and smoke and sulphur issued from their mouths. 18 By these
three plagues a third of mankind was killed, by the fire and
smoke and sulphur issuing from their mouths. 19 For the power
of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails; their tails
are like serpents, with heads, and by means of them they wound.
20 The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues,
did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping
demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and
wood, which cannot either see or hear or walk; 21 nor did they
repent of their murders or their sorceries or their immorality
or their thefts. (RSV)
IV. During this period that the Muslims
are in control of the Middle East the Chinese army will begin
to move and gather itself until it has reached its 200 million
man size and will flood over the mountains and move towards
the Middle East. China will be stopped at the River Euphrates
by the opposing army of the Anti-Christ. The Chinese army will
kill one third of all mankind. This would be virtually every
man, woman, and child between China and the river Euphrates.
China will be in control of this territory for at least three
and one half years. See Revelation 9:12-21 above.
V. The Anti-Christ may rise to power by
destroying three other military powers who were part of the
European Alliance. Exactly when this occurs is not clear, but
probably happens just before or immediately after the destruction
of the Muslims.
In Daniel 7:23-26 we can see that this fourth
world power will have ten leaders. Then an eleventh will arise
and destroy three of them and persecute the Jews for three and
a half years. Then the Messiah will come and destroy this fourth
world power. From verse 23 it is uncertain if this world power
will dominate the entire earth immediately; whether it will
dominate only the area of the known world at the time of Daniel;
or most likely it will rule over the area of the earth that
was controlled by the Roman Empire until the second coming of
Christ and the Rapture of the church. Then in the few days remaining
this fourth world power will unite the nations of the earth
to fight against the Lord!
The question of the role that the United States
and Russia will have is in doubt. It may be that these two countries
are so devastated militarily from a nuclear exchange that it
will be all the Russians can handle to simply keep the Chinese
army from invading its territory. Likewise the United States
may be unable to project its reduced military force across the
vast expanse of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, which in turn
are an aid to its defense and survival. It may also be that
Russia may well be part of the European alliance, although I
feel this is less likely because its territory was not part
of the Old Roman Empire. A good argument for the U.S., Russia,
China, and the European powers to be separate and independent
powers is found in Revelation 13:4, where the whole world was
in awe of the Anti-Christ and asked the question “Who is able
to make war against him?” This clearly implies the independence
of other military powers from this revived Roman Empire but
with none of them having the capacity to wage war and defeat
him.
Dan 7:1-28 1 In the first year of Belshaz'zar
king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions of his head
as he lay in his bed. Then he wrote down the dream, and told
the sum of the matter. 2 Daniel said, "I saw in my vision by
night, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up
the great sea. 3 And four great beasts came up out of the sea,
different from one another. 4 The first was like a lion and
had eagles' wings. Then as I looked its wings were plucked off,
and it was lifted up from the ground and made to stand upon
two feet like a man; and the mind of a man was given to it.
5 And behold, another beast, a second one, like a bear. It was
raised up on one side; it had three ribs in its mouth between
its teeth; and it was told, 'Arise, devour much flesh.' 6 After
this I looked, and lo, another, like a leopard, with four wings
of a bird on its back; and the beast had four heads; and dominion
was given to it. 7 After this I saw in the night visions, and
behold, a fourth beast, terrible and dreadful and exceedingly
strong; and it had great iron teeth; it devoured and broke in
pieces, and stamped the residue with its feet. It was different
from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.
8 I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them
another horn, a little one, before which three of the first
horns were plucked up by the roots; and behold, in this horn
were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking great
things. 9 As I looked, thrones were placed and one that was
ancient of days took his seat; his raiment was white as snow,
and the hair of his head like pure wool; his throne was fiery
flames, its wheels were burning fire. 10 A stream of fire issued
and came forth from before him; a thousand thousands served
him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him; the
court sat in judgment, and the books were opened. 11 I looked
then because of the sound of the great words which the horn
was speaking. And as I looked, the beast was slain, and its
body destroyed and given over to be burned with fire. 12 As
for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away, but
their lives were prolonged for a season and a time. 13 I saw
in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven
there came one like a son of man, and he came to the Ancient
of Days and was presented before him. 14 And to him was given
dominion and glory and kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and
languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion,
which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not
be destroyed. 15 "As for me, Daniel, my spirit within me was
anxious and the visions of my head alarmed me. 16 I approached
one of those who stood there and asked him the truth concerning
all this. So he told me, and made known to me the interpretation
of the things. 17 'These four great beasts are four kings who
shall arise out of the earth. 18 But the saints of the Most
High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for
ever, for ever and ever.' 19 "Then I desired to know the truth
concerning the fourth beast, which was different from all the
rest, exceedingly terrible, with its teeth of iron and claws
of bronze; and which devoured and broke in pieces, and stamped
the residue with its feet; 20 and concerning the ten horns that
were on its head, and the other horn which came up and before
which three of them fell, the horn which had eyes and a mouth
that spoke great things, and which seemed greater than its fellows.
21 As I looked, this horn made war with the saints, and prevailed
over them, 22 until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was
given for the saints of the Most High, and the time came when
the saints received the kingdom. 23 "Thus he said: 'As for the
fourth beast, there shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, which
shall be different from all the kingdoms, and it shall devour
the whole earth, and trample it down, and break it to pieces.
24 As for the ten horns, out of this kingdom ten kings shall
arise, and another shall arise after them; he shall be different
from the former ones, and shall put down three kings. 25 He
shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out
the saints of the Most High, and shall think to change the times
and the law; and they shall be given into his hand for a time,
two times, and half a time. 26 But the court shall sit in judgment,
and his dominion shall be taken away, to be consumed and destroyed
to the end. 27 And the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness
of the kingdoms under the whole heaven shall be given to the
people of the saints of the Most High; their kingdom shall be
an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey
them.' 28 "Here is the end of the matter. As for me, Daniel,
my thoughts greatly alarmed me, and my color changed; but I
kept the matter in my mind." (RSV)
II Th 2:1-12 1 Now concerning the coming of our
Lord Jesus Christ and our assembling to meet him, we beg you,
brethren, 2 not to be quickly shaken in mind or excited, either
by spirit or by word, or by letter purporting to be from us,
to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 3 Let no one
deceive you in any way; for that day will not come, unless the
rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed,
the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself against
every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his
seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. 5
Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you
this? 6 And you know what is restraining him now so that he
may be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness
is already at work; only he who now restrains it will do so
until he is out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will
be revealed, and the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath
of his mouth and destroy him by his appearing and his coming.
9 The coming of the lawless one by the activity of Satan will
be with all power and with pretended signs and wonders, 10 and
with all wicked deception for those who are to perish, because
they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 Therefore
God sends upon them a strong delusion, to make them believe
what is false, 12 so that all may be condemned who did not believe
the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (RSV)
Rev 13:1-10 1 And I saw a beast rising out of
the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems upon
its horns and a blasphemous name upon its heads. 2 And the beast
that I saw was like a leopard, its feet were like a bear's,
and its mouth was like a lion's mouth. And to it the dragon
gave his power and his throne and great authority. 3 One of
its heads seemed to have a mortal wound, but its mortal wound
was healed, and the whole earth followed the beast with wonder.
4 Men worshiped the dragon, for he had given his authority to
the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like
the beast, and who can fight against it?" 5 And the beast was
given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it
was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months; 6 it
opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming
his name and his dwelling, that is, those who dwell in heaven.
7 Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer
them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people
and tongue and nation, 8 and all who dwell on earth will worship
it, every one whose name has not been written before the foundation
of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that was slain.
9 If any one has an ear, let him hear: 10 If any one is to be
taken captive, to captivity he goes; if any one slays with the
sword, with the sword must he be slain. Here is a call for the
endurance and faith of the saints. (RSV)
VI. The Anti-Christ may then stop the Jews
from making the daily sacrifice. Much has been made about the
need to reconstruct the temple and how many years it would take,
but the fact is that in the days of Moses and Joshua the Jews
carried with them a portable temple in which to sacrifice to
God. The first permanent temple was not built until King David
asked God to build one. Therefore the daily sacrifice could
begin again at any time if it was not for the fact that the
Muslims control the grounds where the temple was built. But
after the coming defeat of the Muslims they may very well begin
again. It is also my understanding that the Jews have the Arc
of the Covenant [brought back from Ethiopia], the red heifer
and the oil of anointing. These would allow the Jews to renew
the daily sacrifice. It should also be noted that in Christian
tradition the bread and wine become the body and blood of Jesus
the Christ who is the daily and everlasting sacrifice for our
sins! There may be a double fulfillment of this prophecy. The
Jews may also be waiting for the symbols in the earth and sky
as foretold by Joel in Chapter 2:30 “blood and fire and pillars
of smoke.” That is clearly a depiction of a nuclear explosion.
Joel 2:30-32 30 "And I will give portents in the
heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke.
31 The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood,
before the great and terrible day of the LORD comes. 32 And
it shall come to pass that all who call upon the name of the
LORD shall be delivered; for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
there shall be those who escape, as the LORD has said, and among
the survivors shall be those whom the LORD calls. (RSV)
The daily sacrifice in Jerusalem may be the very
thing that provokes the Muslims to attack, I do not know, but
the Anti-Christ will stop it. It seems the Jews will be ordered
to worship the image or die. The image will be there 1,290 days.
See Dan 12:11-12. The reader will note that 1,290 days and 1,335
days are mentioned. The 45 day difference between these two
numbers is probably the amount of time in which Christ will
return and the seven bowls of judgment will be poured out upon
the nations! This is further elaborated upon in item IX.
Dan 12:1-13 CHAPTER 12 1 "At that time shall arise
Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And
there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since
there was a nation till that time; but at that time your people
shall be delivered, every one whose name shall be found written
in the book. 2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the
earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame
and everlasting contempt. 3 And those who are wise shall shine
like the brightness of the firmament; and those who turn many
to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. 4 But you,
Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, until the time
of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase."
5 Then I Daniel looked, and behold, two others stood, one on
this bank of the stream and one on that bank of the stream.
6 And I said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the
waters of the stream, "How long shall it be till the end of
these wonders?" 7 The man clothed in linen, who was above the
waters of the stream, raised his right hand and his left hand
toward heaven; and I heard him swear by him who lives for ever
that it would be for a time, two times, and half a time; and
that when the shattering of the power of the holy people comes
to an end all these things would be accomplished. 8 I heard,
but I did not understand. Then I said, "O my lord, what shall
be the issue of these things?" 9 He said, "Go your way, Daniel,
for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.
10 Many shall purify themselves, and make themselves white,
and be refined; but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of
the wicked shall understand; but those who are wise shall understand.
11 And from the time that the continual burnt offering is taken
away, and the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there
shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed
is he who waits and comes to the thousand three hundred and
thirty-five days. 13 But go your way till the end; and you shall
rest, and shall stand in your allotted place at the end of the
days." (RSV)
Rev 13:11-18 11 Then I saw another beast which
rose out of the earth; it had two horns like a lamb and it spoke
like a dragon. 12 It exercises all the authority of the first
beast in its presence, and makes the earth and its inhabitants
worship the first beast, whose mortal wound was healed. 13 It
works great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to
earth in the sight of men; 14 and by the signs which it is allowed
to work in the presence of the beast, it deceives those who
dwell on earth, bidding them make an image for the beast which
was wounded by the sword and yet lived; 15 and it was allowed
to give breath to the image of the beast so that the image of
the beast should even speak, and to cause those who would not
worship the image of the beast to be slain. 16 Also it causes
all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and
slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, 17 so
that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is,
the name of the beast or the number of its name. 18 This calls
for wisdom: let him who has understanding reckon the number
of the beast, for it is a human number, its number is six hundred
and sixty-six. (RSV)
Remember, that if it were possible the Antichrist
would decieve the very elect of God. To say that Jesus is not
God made man is to deny the divinity of Christ! He who has wisdom
knows the Bible is the word of God. He who has understanding
knows the word of God. John was a disciple of Christ and his
gospel was given his human name and numbered.
John 6:66 66 After this many of his disciples
drew back and no longer went about with him. (RSV)
Heb 6:4-6 4 For it is impossible to restore again
to repentance those who have once been enlightened, who have
tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy
Spirit, 5 and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and
the powers of the age to come, 6 if they then commit apostasy,
since they crucify the Son of God on their own account and hold
him up to contempt. (RSV)
Exod 40:1-15,18,19,29,34 CHAPTER 40 1 The LORD
said to Moses, 2 "On the first day of the first month you shall
erect the tabernacle of the tent of meeting. 3 And you shall
put in it the ark of the testimony, and you shall screen the
ark with the veil. 4 And you shall bring in the table, and set
its arrangements in order; and you shall bring in the lampstand,
and set up its lamps. 5 And you shall put the golden altar for
incense before the ark of the testimony, and set up the screen
for the door of the tabernacle. 6 You shall set the altar of
burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent
of meeting, 7 and place the laver between the tent of meeting
and the altar, and put water in it. 8 And you shall set up the
court round about, and hang up the screen for the gate of the
court. 9 Then you shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the
tabernacle and all that is in it, and consecrate it and all
its furniture; and it shall become holy. 10 You shall also anoint
the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and consecrate
the altar; and the altar shall be most holy. 11 You shall also
anoint the laver and its base, and consecrate it. 12 Then you
shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tent of meeting,
and shall wash them with water, 13 and put upon Aaron the holy
garments, and you shall anoint him and consecrate him, that
he may serve me as priest. 14 You shall bring his sons also
and put coats on them, 15 and anoint them, as you anointed their
father, that they may serve me as priests: and their anointing
shall admit them to a perpetual priesthood throughout their
generations." 18 Moses erected the tabernacle; he laid its bases,
and set up its frames, and put in its poles, and raised up its
pillars; 19 and he spread the tent over the tabernacle, and
put the covering of the tent over it, as the LORD had commanded
Moses. 29 And he set the altar of burnt offering at the door
of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered upon it
the burnt offering and the cereal offering; as the LORD had
commanded Moses 34 Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting,
and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. (RSV)
VII. There will be two witnesses who will testify
for the Lord during this period of persecution. Their testimony
will last 1,260 days. The Anti-Christ will stop the daily sacrifice
and set up a image in its place. The Jews will be persecuted.
The image will be there 1,290 days. See Dan 12:11-12 and Rev
13:14-15 above. The difference in the number of days between
the 1,290 for the image and the 1,260 days for the two witnesses
is thirty days. It may be that after the Lord returns and the
rapture occurs, the mountain in Jerusalem may split open giving
refuse to the Jews. Then the Lord and his army may take the
city and destroy the enemy within along with the image by the
1,290th day. And then the bowl judgments may be poured out upon
the nations by the 1,335th day.
After the 1260 days the two witnesses will be
killed by the Anti-Christ. They will lie in the streets of Jerusalem
for three and a half days. Then God will bring them back to
life and they will be caught up in the clouds to be with the
Lord. During this three and a half days or shortly after the
sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light.
In Revelations 11:13 it says that there will
be a terrible earthquake and one tenth of the city will be leveled
with 7,000 dead. Those who are left in the city will then give
glory to the one and only true God. Fore it is written that
until the Jews declare “blessed is he who comes in the name
of the Lord” they shall not see the Christ again! And also that
if their rejection of Jesus the Christ means the reconciliation
of the world, then thier acceptance can mean nothing less than
life from the dead!
Zech 14:1-7 1 Behold, a day of the LORD is coming,
when the spoil taken from you will be divided in the midst of
you. 2 For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to
battle, and the city shall be taken and the houses plundered
and the women ravished; half of the city shall go into exile,
but the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then the LORD will go forth and fight against those nations
as when he fights on a day of battle. 4 On that day his feet
shall stand on the Mount of Olives which lies before Jerusalem
on the east; and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from
east to west by a very wide valley; so that one half of the
Mount shall withdraw northward, and the other half southward.
5 And the valley of my mountains shall be stopped up, for the
valley of the mountains shall touch the side of it; and you
shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzzi'ah
king of Judah. Then the LORD your God will come, and all the
holy ones with him. 6 On that day there shall be neither cold
nor frost. 7 And there shall be continuous day (it is known
to the LORD), not day and not night, for at evening time there
shall be light. (RSV)
Matt 24:29-42 29 "Immediately after the tribulation
of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not
give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the
powers of the heavens will be shaken; 30 then will appear the
sign of the Son of man in heaven, and then all the tribes of
the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of man coming
on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory; 31 and he
will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they
will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven
to the other. 32 "From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon
as its branch becomes tender and puts forth its leaves, you
know that summer is near. 33 So also, when you see all these
things, you know that he is near, at the very gates. 34 Truly,
I say to you, this generation will not pass away till all these
things take place. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my
words will not pass away. 36 "But of that day and hour no one
knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father
only. 37 As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of
the Son of man. 38 For as in those days before the flood they
were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until
the day when Noah entered the ark, 39 and they did not know
until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the
coming of the Son of man. 40 Then two men will be in the field;
one is taken and one is left. 41 Two women will be grinding
at the mill; one is taken and one is left. 42 Watch therefore,
for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. (RSV)
Rom 11:11-15 11 So I ask, have they stumbled so
as to fall? By no means! But through their trespass salvation
has come to the Gentiles, so as to make Israel jealous. 12 Now
if their trespass means riches for the world, and if their failure
means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their full
inclusion mean! 13 Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch
then as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry
14 in order to make my fellow Jews jealous, and thus save some
of them. 15 For if their rejection means the reconciliation
of the world, what will their acceptance mean but life from
the dead? (RSV)
Matt 21:43 43 Therefore I tell you, the kingdom
of God will be taken away from you and given to a nation producing
the fruits of it." (RSV)
Matt 23:37-39 37 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, killing
the prophets and stoning those who are sent to you! How often
would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers
her brood under her wings, and you would not! 38 Behold, your
house is forsaken and desolate. 39 For I tell you, you will
not see me again, until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in
the name of the Lord.'" (RSV)
Hosea 6:1-2 1 "Come, let us return to the LORD;
for he has torn, that he may heal us; he has stricken, and he
will bind us up. 2 After two days he will revive us; on the
third day he will raise us up, that we may live before him.
(RSV)
Rev 11:1-14 1 Then I was given a measuring rod
like a staff, and I was told: "Rise and measure the temple of
God and the altar and those who worship there, 2 but do not
measure the court outside the temple; leave that out, for it
is given over to the nations, and they will trample over the
holy city for forty-two months. 3 And I will grant my two witnesses
power to prophesy for one thousand two hundred and sixty days,
clothed in sackcloth." 4 These are the two olive trees and the
two lampstands which stand before the Lord of the earth. 5 And
if any one would harm them, fire pours out from their mouth
and consumes their foes; if any one would harm them, thus he
is doomed to be killed. 6 They have power to shut the sky, that
no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying, and they
have power over the waters to turn them into blood, and to smite
the earth with every plague, as often as they desire. 7 And
when they have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends
from the bottomless pit will make war upon them and conquer
them and kill them, 8 and their dead bodies will lie in the
street of the great city which is allegorically called Sodom
and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified. 9 For three days
and a half men from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations
gaze at their dead bodies and refuse to let them be placed in
a tomb, 10 and those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over
them and make merry and exchange presents, because these two
prophets had been a torment to those who dwell on the earth.
11 But after the three and a half days a breath of life from
God entered them, and they stood up on their feet, and great
fear fell on those who saw them. 12 Then they heard a loud voice
from heaven saying to them, "Come up hither!" And in the sight
of their foes they went up to heaven in a cloud. 13 And at that
hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell;
seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the
rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven. 14
The second woe has passed; behold, the third woe is soon to
come. (RSV)
VIII. Quickly after this Jesus the Christ will
appear with all his angels and all those who died trusting and
believing in him. At the same time all those who are alive and
believed and trusted in him, will be changed and caught up with
him in the clouds in an instant. And they will never know death!
Fore they shall pass through death into eternal life with the
Lord.
Rev 11:14-19 14 The second woe has passed; behold,
the third woe is soon to come. 15 Then the seventh angel blew
his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The
kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and
of his Christ, and he shall reign for ever and ever." 16 And
the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell
on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying, "We give thanks
to thee, Lord God Almighty, who art and who wast, that thou
hast taken thy great power and begun to reign. 18 The nations
raged, but thy wrath came, and the time for the dead to be judged,
for rewarding thy servants, the prophets and saints, and those
who fear thy name, both small and great, and for destroying
the destroyers of the earth." 19 Then God's temple in heaven
was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his
temple; and there were flashes of lightning, voices, peals of
thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail. (RSV)
1 Cor 15:50-58 50 I tell you this, brethren: flesh
and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable
inherit the imperishable. 51 Lo! I tell you a mystery. We shall
not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment,
in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet
will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we
shall be changed. 53 For this perishable nature must put on
the imperishable, and this mortal nature must put on immortality.
54 When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal
puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that
is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory." 55 "O death,
where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting?" 56 The sting
of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks
be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable,
always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the
Lord your labor is not in vain. (RSV)
1Thes 4:14-18 14 For since we believe that Jesus
died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring
with him those who have fallen asleep. 15 For this we declare
to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are
left until the coming of the Lord, shall not precede those who
have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from
heaven with a cry of command, with the archangel's call, and
with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ
will rise first; 17 then we who are alive, who are left, shall
be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord
in the air; and so we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore
comfort one another with these words. (RSV)
An extremely important point that needs to be
made is that Christ returns and the rapture occurs at the last
trumpet blast!!! See 1 Cor 15:52 and Rev 11:15. This trumpet
blast is the last in a series of seven and is the last one written
in the Bible. I can not emphasize enough that these seven trumpet
blasts of revelation are a series and in sequence and represent
these coming events!! This knowledge has been given to me through
his Holy Spirit and is without error and is perfect!!
IX. After the return of Christ and the rapture
of his church the seven bowls of Revelation chapters 15 and
16 will be poured out upon the Anti-Christ and the Nations of
the world. Particularly those who have been influenced or controlled
by the Anti-Christ. In Dan 12:11-12 the reader will note that
there is 1,290 days at the end of which it is implied that something
will happen. Then it says blessed is the one that comes to the
1,335 day. Since this chapter of Daniel is addressed primarily
to the Jews, it is my opinion that the seven bowls will be completed
by that time. It is also my opinion that the Messiah will return
near the 1,290th day. Just so that my position on this is not
confused; I would like to clearly state, that even up to the
last moment no man can know the day or the hour of our Lord’s
return! It is however Biblically sound to know the signs of
his coming and when our redemption draws nigh. Even at the door.
Mark 13:29 29 So also, when you see these things
taking place, you know that he is near, at the very gates. (RSV)
Rev 15:1-2 1 Then I saw another portent in heaven,
great and wonderful, seven angels with seven plagues, which
are the last, for with them the wrath of God is ended. 2 And
I saw what appeared to be a sea of glass mingled with fire,
and those who had conquered the beast and its image and the
number of its name, standing beside the sea of glass with harps
of God in their hands.
Rev 16:1-21 1 Then I heard a loud voice from the
temple telling the seven angels, "Go and pour out on the earth
the seven bowls of the wrath of God." 2 So the first angel went
and poured his bowl on the earth, and foul and evil sores came
upon the men who bore the mark of the beast and worshiped its
image. 3 The second angel poured his bowl into the sea, and
it became like the blood of a dead man, and every living thing
died that was in the sea. 4 The third angel poured his bowl
into the rivers and the fountains of water, and they became
blood. 5 And I heard the angel of water say, "Just art thou
in these thy judgments, thou who art and wast, O Holy One. 6
For men have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou
hast given them blood to drink. It is their due!" 7 And I heard
the altar cry, "Yea, Lord God the Almighty, true and just are
thy judgments!" 8 The fourth angel poured his bowl on the sun,
and it was allowed to scorch men with fire; 9 men were scorched
by the fierce heat, and they cursed the name of God who had
power over these plagues, and they did not repent and give him
glory. 10 The fifth angel poured his bowl on the throne of the
beast, and its kingdom was in darkness; men gnawed their tongues
in anguish 11 and cursed the God of heaven for their pain and
sores, and did not repent of their deeds. 12 The sixth angel
poured his bowl on the great river Euphra'tes, and its water
was dried up, to prepare the way for the kings from the east.
13 And I saw, issuing from the mouth of the dragon and from
the mouth of the beast and from the mouth of the false prophet,
three foul spirits like frogs; 14 for they are demonic spirits,
performing signs, who go abroad to the kings of the whole world,
to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty.
15 ("Lo, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is he who is awake,
keeping his garments that he may not go naked and be seen exposed!")
16 And they assembled them at the place which is called in Hebrew
Armaged'don. 17 The seventh angel poured his bowl into the air,
and a loud voice came out of the temple, from the throne, saying,
"It is done!" 18 And there were flashes of lightning, voices,
peals of thunder, and a great earthquake such as had never been
since men were on the earth, so great was that earthquake. 19
The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of
the nations fell, and God remembered great Babylon, to make
her drain the cup of the fury of his wrath. 20 And every island
fled away, and no mountains were to be found; 21 and great hailstones,
heavy as a hundred-weight, dropped on men from heaven, till
men cursed God for the plague of the hail, so fearful was that
plague. (RSV)
Zech 14:12-17 12 And this shall be the plague
with which the LORD will smite all the peoples that wage war
against Jerusalem: their flesh shall rot while they are still
on their feet, their eyes shall rot in their sockets, and their
tongues shall rot in their mouths. 13 And on that day a great
panic from the LORD shall fall on them, so that each will lay
hold on the hand of his fellow, and the hand of the one will
be raised against the hand of the other; 14 even Judah will
fight against Jerusalem. And the wealth of all the nations round
about shall be collected, gold, silver, and garments in great
abundance. 15 And a plague like this plague shall fall on the
horses, the mules, the camels, the asses, and whatever beasts
may be in those camps. 16 Then every one that survives of all
the nations that have come against Jerusalem shall go up year
after year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep
the feast of booths. 17 And if any of the families of the earth
do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts,
there will be no rain upon them. (RSV)
II TH 2:11-12 11 Therefore God sends upon them
a strong delusion, to make them believe what is false, 12 so
that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but
had pleasure in unrighteousness. (RSV)
NOTE: In 2 Thess.2:11-12 above it is God that
is sending the delusion. This will be fulfilled after the Return
of Christ! SEE, I HAVE WARNED YOU!! Under this strong delusion
those who did not turn to Christ and from all that is sin will
come to their eternal doom at the battle of Armagedon! And I
do not just speak of a physical death, but an eternal torment
in the lake of fire prepared for those who turned away from
God when he appeared before them. I TELL YOU THE TRUTH! CHRIST
MUST REMOVE ALL EVIL BEFORE SETTING UP HIS KINGDOM. And what
if some of those who escape this strong delusion are found unworthy
to be part of the kingdom? Shall they be cast into the outer
darkness? Will they return after the 1,000 year reign of Christ
for the Final Judgement? I do not know. Far better to turn to
the Lord now, for he is merciful to those who put thier trust
in him.
X. In Revelation 16:12-21 (see above) the
River Euphrates will be dried up. The 200 million man army of
China, Kings of the East, the Anti-Christ’s army, and other
armies from around the world will gather together into the great
wine press of God’s wrath outside the city in a place called
Armageddon. This place is also known as the valley of Megiddo.
Then there will be a great earthquake beyond any in history.
And mountains will flatten out and islands will disappear and
cities will fall in heaps of rubble and there will be an incredible
hailstorm from weighing a hundred pounds each. These hail stones
will fall upon the armies that have gathered together in the
valley of Megiddo to wage war against the Lord and will crush
them! The blood will flow out in a stream 200 miles long and
as high as a horses bridle!! I believe that this will be a very
real and literal event. Some may make the argument that even
if there was 500 million soldiers in the valley of Megiddo that
it still couldn’t produce enough blood to make a stream 200
miles long. But given an incredible earthquake that reshapes
the contours of the land and 100 pound hailstones of ice that
will melt and mix with the blood of those crushed beneath it,
it is not inconceivable because God has not disclosed the volume
of hailstones used. I know that in God all things are possible.
Rev 6:12-17 12 When he opened the sixth seal,
I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the
sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood,
13 and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree
sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale; 14 the sky vanished
like a scroll that is rolled up, and every mountain and island
was removed from its place. 15 Then the kings of the earth and
the great men and the generals and the rich and the strong,
and every one, slave and free, hid in the caves and among the
rocks of the mountains, 16 calling to the mountains and rocks,
"Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on
the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; 17 for the great
day of their wrath has come, and who can stand before it?" (RSV)
When the sixth seal is broken in Revelation 6:12,
the earthquake, darkening of the sun and moon, may be associated
with Revelation 6:14-17 which represents the last events in
the Tribulation.
Rev 14:18-20 18 Then another angel came out from
the altar, the angel who has power over fire, and he called
with a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, "Put in your
sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for
its grapes are ripe." 19 So the angel swung his sickle on the
earth and gathered the vintage of the earth, and threw it into
the great wine press of the wrath of God; 20 and the wine press
was trodden outside the city, and blood flowed from the wine
press, as high as a horse's bridle, for one thousand six hundred
stadia. (RSV)
Rev 16:17-21 17 The seventh angel poured his bowl
into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple, from
the throne, saying, "It is done!" 18 And there were flashes
of lightning, voices, peals of thunder, and a great earthquake
such as had never been since men were on the earth, so great
was that earthquake. 19 The great city was split into three
parts, and the cities of the nations fell, and God remembered
great Babylon, to make her drain the cup of the fury of his
wrath. 20 And every island fled away, and no mountains were
to be found; 21 and great hailstones, heavy as a hundred-weight,
dropped on men from heaven, till men cursed God for the plague
of the hail, so fearful was that plague. (RSV)
Rev 17:1-18 1 Then one of the seven angels who
had the seven bowls came and said to me, "Come, I will show
you the judgment of the great harlot who is seated upon many
waters, 2 with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication,
and with the wine of whose fornication the dwellers on earth
have become drunk." 3 And he carried me away in the Spirit into
a wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which
was full of blasphemous names, and it had seven heads and ten
horns. 4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and bedecked
with gold and jewels and pearls, holding in her hand a golden
cup full of abominations and the impurities of her fornication;
5 and on her forehead was written a name of mystery: "Babylon
the great, mother of harlots and of earth's abominations." 6
And I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and
the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. When I saw her I marveled
greatly. 7 But the angel said to me, "Why marvel? I will tell
you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast with seven heads
and ten horns that carries her. 8 The beast that you saw was,
and is not, and is to ascend from the bottomless pit and go
to perdition; and the dwellers on earth whose names have not
been written in the book of life from the foundation of the
world, will marvel to behold the beast, because it was and is
not and is to come. 9 This calls for a mind with wisdom: the
seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman is seated;
10 they are also seven kings, five of whom have fallen, one
is, the other has not yet come, and when he comes he must remain
only a little while. 11 As for the beast that was and is not,
it is an eighth but it belongs to the seven, and it goes to
perdition. 12 And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings who
have not yet received royal power, but they are to receive authority
as kings for one hour, together with the beast. 13 These are
of one mind and give over their power and authority to the beast;
14 they will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer
them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with
him are called and chosen and faithful." 15 And he said to me,
"The waters that you saw, where the harlot is seated, are peoples
and multitudes and nations and tongues. 16 And the ten horns
that you saw, they and the beast will hate the harlot; they
will make her desolate and naked, and devour her flesh and burn
her up with fire, 17 for God has put it into their hearts to
carry out his purpose by being of one mind and giving over their
royal power to the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
18 And the woman that you saw is the great city which has dominion
over the kings of the earth." (RSV)
Rev 19:1-21 1 After this I heard what seemed to
be the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, crying, "Hallelujah!
Salvation and glory and power belong to our God, 2 for his judgments
are true and just; he has judged the great harlot who corrupted
the earth with her fornication, and he has avenged on her the
blood of his servants." 3 Once more they cried, "Hallelujah!
The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever." 4 And the twenty-four
elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped
God who is seated on the throne, saying, "Amen. Hallelujah!"
5 And from the throne came a voice crying, "Praise our God,
all you his servants, you who fear him, small and great." 6
Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude,
like the sound of many waters and like the sound of mighty thunderpeals,
crying, "Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns.
7 Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage
of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready;
8 it was granted her to be clothed with fine linen, bright and
pure"-- for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.
9 And the angel said to me, "Write this: Blessed are those who
are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb." And he said
to me, "These are true words of God." 10 Then I fell down at
his feet to worship him, but he said to me, "You must not do
that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brethren who hold
the testimony of Jesus. Worship God." For the testimony of Jesus
is the spirit of prophecy. 11 Then I saw heaven opened, and
behold, a white horse! He who sat upon it is called Faithful
and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. 12 His
eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems;
and he has a name inscribed which no one knows but himself.
13 He is clad in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which
he is called is The Word of God. 14 And the armies of heaven,
arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, followed him on white
horses. 15 From his mouth issues a sharp sword with which to
smite the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron;
he will tread the wine press of the fury of the wrath of God
the Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has a name
inscribed, King of kings and Lord of lords. 17 Then I saw an
angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he called to
all the birds that fly in midheaven, "Come, gather for the great
supper of God, 18 to eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains,
the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and their riders,
and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and
great." 19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with
their armies gathered to make war against him who sits upon
the horse and against his army. 20 And the beast was captured,
and with it the false prophet who in its presence had worked
the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark
of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were
thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulphur.
21 And the rest were slain by the sword of him who sits upon
the horse, the sword that issues from his mouth; and all the
birds were gorged with their flesh. (RSV)
XI. There will be a wedding feast of the
lamb for all who testify of their faith in Jesus. This will
occur after the rapture. See Revelation 19:7-10. After the Lord
has struck down the nations in the valley of Megiddo, Rev. 19:17-21
describes the birds devouring the flesh of the armies. And the
evil creature, the Anti-Christ and his false prophet will both
be cast alive into the lake of fire. Then Satan will be bound
and cast into the bottomless pit for a thousand years.
XII. At the end of the thousand year reign
of Christ, Satan will be released from the bottomless pit to
deceive and gather the nations along with Gog and Magog for
battle against the Lord and the people of God. But fire from
God will consume them. Then Satan will be thrown into the lake
of fire. This is done by the hand of God and not by any other
nation. There does seem to be two fulfillments regarding Gog.
One at Armagedon and another at the end of the thousand year
reign.
Ezek 38:1-23 1 The word of the LORD came to me:
2 "Son of man, set your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog,
the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against
him 3 and say, Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against
you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal; 4 and I will
turn you about, and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring
you forth, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them
clothed in full armor, a great company, all of them with buckler
and shield, wielding swords; 5 Persia, Cush, and Put are with
them, all of them with shield and helmet; 6 Gomer and all his
hordes; Beth-togar'mah from the uttermost parts of the north
with all his hordes-- many peoples are with you. 7 "Be ready
and keep ready, you and all the hosts that are assembled about
you, and be a guard for them. 8 After many days you will be
mustered; in the latter years you will go against the land that
is restored from war, the land where people were gathered from
many nations upon the mountains of Israel, which had been a
continual waste; its people were brought out from the nations
and now dwell securely, all of them. 9 You will advance, coming
on like a storm, you will be like a cloud covering the land
you and all your hordes, and many peoples with you. 10 "Thus
says the Lord GOD: On that day thoughts will come into your
mind, and you will devise an evil scheme 11 and say, 'I will
go up against the land of unwalled villages; I will fall upon
the quiet people who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without
walls, and having no bars or gates'; 12 to seize spoil and carry
off plunder; to assail the waste places which are now inhabited,
and the people who were gathered from the nations, who have
gotten cattle and goods, who dwell at the center of the earth.
13 Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all its
villages will say to you, 'Have you come to seize spoil? Have
you assembled your hosts to carry off plunder, to carry away
silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to seize great
spoil?' 14 "Therefore, son of man, prophesy, and say to Gog,
Thus says the Lord GOD: On that day when my people Israel are
dwelling securely, you will bestir yourself 15 and come from
your place out of the uttermost parts of the north, you and
many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great
host, a mighty army; 16 you will come up against my people Israel,
like a cloud covering the land. In the latter days I will bring
you against my land, that the nations may know me, when through
you, O Gog, I vindicate my holiness before their eyes. 17 "Thus
says the Lord GOD: Are you he of whom I spoke in former days
by my servants the prophets of Israel, who in those days prophesied
for years that I would bring you against them? 18 But on that
day, when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, says the
Lord GOD, my wrath will be roused. 19 For in my jealousy and
in my blazing wrath I declare, On that day there shall be a
great shaking in the land of Israel; 20 the fish of the sea,
and the birds of the air, and the beasts of the field, and all
creeping things that creep on the ground, and all the men that
are upon the face of the earth, shall quake at my presence,
and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the cliffs shall
fall, and every wall shall tumble to the ground. 21 I will summon
every kind of terror against Gog, says the Lord GOD; every man's
sword will be against his brother. 22 With pestilence and bloodshed
I will enter into judgment with him; and I will rain upon him
and his hordes and the many peoples that are with him, torrential
rains and hailstones, fire and brimstone. 23 So I will show
my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes
of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD. (RSV)
Ezek 39:1-21 1 "And you, son of man, prophesy
against Gog, and say, Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against
you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal; 2 and I will
turn you about and drive you forward, and bring you up from
the uttermost parts of the north, and lead you against the mountains
of Israel; 3 then I will strike your bow from your left hand,
and will make your arrows drop out of your right hand. 4 You
shall fall upon the mountains of Israel, you and all your hordes
and the peoples that are with you; I will give you to birds
of prey of every sort and to the wild beasts to be devoured.
5 You shall fall in the open field; for I have spoken, says
the Lord GOD. 6 I will send fire on Magog and on those who dwell
securely in the coastlands; and they shall know that I am the
LORD. 7 "And my holy name I will make known in the midst of
my people Israel; and I will not let my holy name be profaned
any more; and the nations shall know that I am the LORD, the
Holy One in Israel. 8 Behold, it is coming and it will be brought
about, says the Lord GOD. That is the day of which I have spoken.
9 "Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go forth
and make fires of the weapons and burn them, shields and bucklers,
bows and arrows, handpikes and spears, and they will make fires
of them for seven years; 10 so that they will not need to take
wood out of the field or cut down any out of the forests, for
they will make their fires of the weapons; they will despoil
those who despoiled them, and plunder those who plundered them,
says the Lord GOD. 11 "On that day I will give to Gog a place
for burial in Israel, the Valley of the Travelers east of the
sea; it will block the travelers, for there Gog and all his
multitude will be buried; it will be called the Valley of Hamon-gog.
12 For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them,
in order to cleanse the land. 13 All the people of the land
will bury them; and it will redound to their honor on the day
that I show my glory, says the Lord GOD. 14 They will set apart
men to pass through the land continually and bury those remaining
upon the face of the land, so as to cleanse it; at the end of
seven months they will make their search. 15 And when these
pass through the land and any one sees a man's bone, then he
shall set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in
the Valley of Hamon-gog. 16 (A city Hamo'nah is there also.)
Thus shall they cleanse the land. 17 "As for you, son of man,
thus says the Lord GOD: Speak to the birds of every sort and
to all beasts of the field, 'Assemble and come, gather from
all sides to the sacrificial feast which I am preparing for
you, a great sacrificial feast upon the mountains of Israel,
and you shall eat flesh and drink blood. 18 You shall eat the
flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the
earth-- of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bulls, all of them
fatlings of Bashan. 19 And you shall eat fat till you are filled,
and drink blood till you are drunk, at the sacrificial feast
which I am preparing for you. 20 And you shall be filled at
my table with horses and riders, with mighty men and all kinds
of warriors,' says the Lord GOD. 21 "And I will set my glory
among the nations; and all the nations shall see my judgment
which I have executed, and my hand which I have laid on them.
(RSV)
Rev 20:1-15 1 Then I saw an angel coming down
from heaven, holding in his hand the key of the bottomless pit
and a great chain. 2 And he seized the dragon, that ancient
serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand
years, 3 and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed
it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till
the thousand years were ended. After that he must be loosed
for a little while. 4 Then I saw thrones, and seated on them
were those to whom judgment was committed. Also I saw the souls
of those who had been beheaded for their testimony to Jesus
and for the word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast
or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads
or their hands. They came to life, and reigned with Christ a
thousand years. 5 The rest of the dead did not come to life
until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he who shares in the first resurrection!
Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests
of God and of Christ, and they shall reign with him a thousand
years. 7 And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be
loosed from his prison 8 and will come out to deceive the nations
which are at the four corners of the earth, that is, Gog and
Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand
of the sea. 9 And they marched up over the broad earth and surrounded
the camp of the saints and the beloved city; but fire came down
from heaven and consumed them, 10 and the devil who had deceived
them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulphur where the
beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented
day and night for ever and ever. 11 Then I saw a great white
throne and him who sat upon it; from his presence earth and
sky fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw
the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books
were opened. Also another book was opened, which is the book
of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the
books, by what they had done. 13 And the sea gave up the dead
in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead in them, and all were
judged by what they had done. 14 Then Death and Hades were thrown
into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of
fire; 15 and if any one's name was not found written in the
book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. (RSV)
XIII. There may be a great white throne
judgment at the end of all these events at the end of the millennial
reign of Christ. All those who are alive with mortal bodies
and all who have ever lived that did not come back to life at
the second coming of Christ will be judged at this time. This
may be why Jesus said the “first shall be last and the last
shall be first.” But those who have been saved through faith
in Jesus Christ will have no fear of this final judgment. But
those who refused to trust in Christ and who’s deeds were evil
will be cast into the lake of fire to be tormented for all eternity.
